How does Foundations save me money?
By completing courses early, you can graduate early by a semester or more. See the costs page for details...
What are classes like?
Class will be conducted using a combination of face-to-face teaching and video conferencing. Two classes each month will be taught with the professor in the classroom. The other classes each month will be conducted using state-of-the-art video distance learning technology. Our classroom provides a full interactive environment for taking a class from a professor who is at a remote location.
Summer classes will be taught on site at our location by the professor.
How long do classes last?
All classes taught during the fall or spring semester last a total of fourteen weeks. Classes taught in the summer sessions are intensive courses and last a total of two weeks.
What do I need to bring to class?
Please bring a writing utensil, a notebook, a folder or binder, your textbooks, and be willing to participate in class. Each professor may have other requirements in addition to these. For information specific to the current course visit the courses page.
When does class start?
The fall class is scheduled to start September 12, 2009. Please check the Course Schedule page to see the dates of future courses.
Am I able to be dual enrolled in high school with these courses?
At this time the option to be dual enrolled is not available.
Are these classes transferable?
Yes, these courses are fully transferable. We have provided examples of how these courses transfer to Georgia State, Georgia Tech, University of Georgia, Georgia Southern, and Auburn University. If you plan to go to another university please contact the program liaison and they will help you make sure your courses are transferable.
Where do classes take place??
All classes take place at Faith Lutheran Church in Sharpsburg, GA in their education wing. For directions to the church please visit the Map and Directions page.
How does class work?
Classes are every on Monday evening from 6:30pm-8pm and 1-2 Saturdays a month from 10am-12pm. For more specific dates go to Course Schedule.
Is there an age requirement to participate in these classes?
You must be a Junior or Senior in high school to be eligible to participate. Anyone who is older than that age may also participate.
What if I have not yet taken the SAT/ACT?
If you would like to participate in the program, but have not taken your SAT/ACT test your admission will be granted based more upon your GPA.
Is financial aid available for this program?
At this time, no state or federal aid is available for this program. Foundations strives to provide the lowest cost-per-credit possible. Foundations also has a scholarship program available to students. If you need financial assistance please contact the program liaison.
Where do I park?
Parking is available free of charge in the parking lot at the church. Please park and enter the building through the education entrance on the south side of the building.
How do I receive my official transcripts?
Print a transcript request form and follow the directions stated on the sheet.
