Brianna’s relationship with READ Saskatoon began in 2012. For the past three years Brianna has been on the LIT UP (previously READ ‘n’ Feed) team as Co-Chair and Chair, helping with one of READ Saskatoon’s largest fundraisers. LIT UP is an exciting and entertaining fundraiser complete with drinks and appetizers, socializing, and lively bidding on unique auction experiences! In 2013 READ 'n' Feed attracted 220 guests and raised over $30,000 for READ Saskatoon. Over the last two years LIT UP has become one of Saskatoon’s must-attend fundraisers with over 350 guests and raising almost $40,000 to ensure READ Saskatoon continues to provide free literacy programs throughout Saskatoon and area.

Brianna loves the team at READ Saskatoon and truly enjoys volunteering on the LIT UP team.

Brianna Bergeron explains why she donates to READ Saskatoon:

Literacy is important to me because Canadian citizens need to have the ability to read to participate fully in their communities and wider society. Literacy is key to happy and healthy communities.”

“I donate to READ Saskatoon because they are amazing, selfless, happy people who give so much to make our communities better places to live. They are also lots of fun to volunteer with.”
