Saskatchewan REALTORS® are dedicated to improving the quality of life for those living in our province.  By supporting great organizations like READ Saskatoon, the Association of Saskatchewan REALTORS® has the opportunity to see how community programs allow people to flourish and communities to thrive.

One of the many ways REALTORS® in our province contribute to their communities is through the Quality of Life Legacy Fund – an initiative that provides grants to six different community organizations each year. Through literacy, READ Saskatoon is providing valuable, life-altering services to many, and helping members of our community to overcome risks they may otherwise be exposed to.  The programs READ Saskatoon offers undoubtedly improve not only the lives of each participating individual, but also the community as a whole, and encompass the values we support through the Quality of Life Legacy Fund.

I have personally had the opportunity to work one-on-one with adult learners and it has confirmed my belief that literacy – something many of us take for granted – is an essential skill.  Seeing first-hand how a basic skill can change lives makes volunteering with and supporting READ Saskatoon an easy choice.
