Pam Clarke National Philanthropy Day Nomination
0 CommentNational Philanthropy Day acknowledges those who have made a difference in their community. In November, we were grateful for the opportunity to honour one of READ Saskatoon’s long-time donors Pam Clarke by nominating her for the Honoured Supporter Award.
Pam Clarke, a Lawyer who works for the Department of Justice (Canada), embodies the true spirit of philanthropy. She is generous, kind-hearted, compassionate, and most importantly, rolls up her sleeves for the heavy lifting of volunteer community work. Pam is clearly an outstanding professional, mentor, and influencer but we believe she should be viewed first as an outstanding leader. She is, and has been, a leader to those of us in the literacy sector.
Board members are strong supporters of the organizations they volunteer for. Although Pam’s four-year service on the board of directors concluded in 2005, and she is thousands of miles away, we are touched that she continues to engage in our agency. Thank you, Pam, for your involvement with READ Saskatoon!
