The Introduction to Family Literacy is a full day certificate workshop for anyone wanting to facilitate, coordinate and/or develop family literacy programs. This workshop is open to those who are interested in learning more about family literacy.
Certificate Objectives:
- Introduce participants to READ Saskatoon's family literacy programs
- Learn the theories and guiding principles of family literacy
- Assist with starting family literacy activities and programs that work for your community
- provide information on additional training opportunities
The Introduction to Family Literacy Certificate is a pre-requisite for further family literacy training in Saskatchewan.
