The Introduction to Family Literacy is a certificate workshop for anyone who wants to facilitate, coordinate and/or develop family literacy programs, and it will:
- Introduce participants to Family Literacy programs
- Cover theories and guiding principles of Family Literacy
- Explore how families contribute to the language and literacy skills of their children
- Assist with starting family literacy activities and programs that work for your community
- Provide information on additional training opportunities
