The Introduction to Family Literacy is a full day certificate workshop for anyone wanting to facilitate, coordinate and/or develop family literacy programs. This workshop is open to those who are interested in learning more about family literacy.
Certificate Objectives:
- introduce participants to READ Saskatoon’s Family Literacy programs
- learn the theories and guiding principles of Family Literacy
- assist with starting family literacy activities and programs that work for your community
- provide information on additional training opportunities
The Introduction to Family Literacy Certificate is a pre-requisite for further Family Literacy training in Saskatchewan.
