BHP Supports Foundations with Presenting Sponsorship
It is with immense gratitude that we announce, for a third year, BHP as our presenting sponsor for LIT UP!, Foundations’ signature gala.
LIT UP! is a fun, business casual evening that spotlights literacy with great volunteer and learner recognition. This year, we will host business and community leaders, donors, and volunteers as we celebrate successes and shine a light on literacy challenges facing our province. Funds raised go toward advancing literacy and learning in Saskatoon and throughout the province.

As we reflect on the past three years, we are grateful for the investment in creating learning opportunities for individuals and families throughout the province. Together, we continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve and advance the cause of literacy and education in our community” says Sheryl Harrow-Yurach, Executive Director.
BHP works to increase social inclusion through access to relevant education and vocational training, skills development, and enhanced livelihood opportunities. This multi-year investment in community literacy programs demonstrates BHP understands those facing multiple barriers need increased access to equitable learning opportunities.
“We are committed to working with communities we are a part of and recognize the importance of treating our communities with respect. We aim to build trust through open and honest relationships.”
Foundations believes communities have a right to responsive and effective literacy programs, and lifelong habits contribute to strong and resilient communities.
