You know your community best! By having Foundations train staff at your agency to deliver money management workshops,

Your organization will

  • Build expertise in the sustainable livelihoods approach to poverty reduction
  • Build in-house capacity to provide money management education to your participants
  • Create the freedom and control to build skills in a way that works for your participants

Your participants will

  • Explore their relationship to money and spending
  • Learn to reduce debt and save, even on a low income
  • Practice making and sticking to a budget
  • Gain skills and confidence from a person they trust (you!)
  • Learn how assets are more than just financial

Your staff will receive

  • Intensive facilitation training on 5 money management workshop topics: Assets, Banking, Budgeting, Credit, and Consumerism
  • Financial Literacy facilitator’s guide, participant handouts, additional resources
  • Networking opportunities with other agencies serving people living on low incomes
  • Follow-up support from Foundations’ staff
  • Info on other Foundations’ presentations
